Contributor Bio:  Lee, Marilyn MARILYN LEE The theory is at 65 years of age I should be retiring. However, the angels or the Universe has other plans for me. I am now writing and speaking about spiritual issues in an effort to serve my fellow humans on this planet. My sense of peace for the dying stemmed from my 15 year practice of giving past-life regression therapy for those either interested or tormented by issues they could not explain in any other terms. In my practice I included at least one remembering event of re-experiencing a death. With this, I gained the insight that death is only a painless transition from the physical to the non-physical experience that also provided for lessons learned or insights into the human experience. And with this practice, I came to realize that our physical lives are not much more than a dream-like experience to assist the self we consider to be the soul to gain insight into the All That Is and that the All That Is requires insight into Itself. In October 2006 I began writing this book, " "The Camp of God's Tears"" that was inspired by a dream I had about 25 years ago. Through all of this I continued my spiritual practice of learning, seeking and behaving in ways that demonstrate my deeply held spiritual beliefs. And, I remain so. JOHN R MAYFIELD After his admission to the Arizona Bar he was employed by the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, Civil Division. Subsequently, he was appointed as an Assistant U. S. Attorney in the Civil Division, United States Attorney's Office in Phoenix and served for over 26 years before he retired. Throughout his career at the U. S. Attorney's Office he worked closely with the Indian Health Service (IHS) regarding Native American health issues. Of particular note was his representation of the IHS in a lawsuit that attained worldwide attention regarding the protection of Hopi traditional beliefs and practices. He was instrumental in reaching a solution that was acceptable to the traditional Hopi Elders. He was involved in the initial phases of developing a procedure to permit traditional healers' access to patients in IHS medical facilities in Arizona. These efforts ultimately led to a nationwide program which allows such access for all IHS facilities. He was also involved in a successful effort to preserve a sensitive ecological area threatened by a state highway reconstruction project.
