The Communist Program for World Conquest: Testimony of General Albert C. Wedemeyer United States Army
House of Representatives
On January 21, 1958, General Albert Wedemeyer of the United States Army testified before the House Un-American Activities Committee of the 83rd Congress about the looming threat of Communism set on devouring the United States of America by stealth, deception, and progressive incremental gains toward socialism. Nearly a decade after World War II, with nearly two-thirds of the world enslaved by communists, General Wedemeyer described the new tactics being employed to capture the remaining one-third of the earth. Here, in his testimony before the House Un-American Activities Committee of the 83rd Congress, the General shares his keen insight of global affairs along with the three prong approach for bringing down America: economics, politics and psycholgical warfare. Without ever firing a single weapon, Communists plan to destabilize America until she falls willingly into their hands. God, Himself, warns: "My people perish for lack of knowledge." The testimony here may mean the difference between life and death; freedom and slavery; if only we will take the time to educate ourselves and our children.
