A series of mysterious murders around the Jones mansion and in several other states leaves Detectives around the country baffled and disheartened, as they feverishly try to solve the crimes before another murder is committed. KMN news gave the murders a name calling the perpetrator the Blood Pool Killer, leaving behind only pools of blood. The Jones families' world is turned upside down, as Laddie recalls the wonderful family vacation her family took a few years earlier on Keeps Island. She stands frozen in place as the life squad takes her son Zane away after a vicious attack, Only to find that something's in life are for keeps.
