Publisher Marketing: This book was written for 9 years old to 99! The entire series is ongoing through 6 books and is family oriented. Book 1 tells the story of the creation, and events leading up to the distribution of the wands. Many unusual things happen along the way. In the beginning, the fairy high priestess and seer foretells of a great disturbance in the magical realm. Since fairies are responsible for the balance of magic, it's necessary for them to discover its source and be on hand to erase the magical ripples before they attract a bad fairy, who could cause trouble in both the human and magical realms. The seer said two girls will make items with jewels that will be blessed by an angel, making them magical. The fairies didn't know who, where or when that would happen. What they did know is that they had to find these girls to be on hand to erase the magical ripples, while at the same time find a human they could trust to assist them. They chose a sixty year old grandmother that they were sure would help them. Meanwhile, the angel visits the youngest girl in her dreams, attempting to give her a message, but only ends up frightening her. After a few set backs, the girls finally understand what was really intended for the items they made, and learn the true joy of giving to others along the way. Many wonderful things happen, making this the best, most magical Christmas ever.
