. You have heard that it was said, you should love your neighbor and hate your enemy; but I say to you according to Matthew 5:43-44; Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you? The reason why Matthew 5:43-44 has been such a blessing to me is, that I remember when I was about 13 years old I had went to this store called Kroger?s and snatched this woman?s purse and low and behold it was an undercover cop working at the store. So I ran and ran but the end results were I got caught, and the policeman brought me back to the scene of the crime. I just knew then I was going to get locked up. But when the officer asked the woman if she was going to press charges ?she said no.? Her next words were shocking to me she said, ?He?s just a kid all he needs is some love.? So when I read this verse I reflect back on that day in my life and I thank God for that because it taught me how to love my enemies. But, always remember my friends God can take the bad things in our lives and turn it into good for those that love and trust in Him. So please whatever you do in life don?t let go of His unchanging hands. Amen. Dear God please teach us how to love our enemies, And pray for them even when we feel like its, The wrong thing to do, Help us to see them like You see them, Because You have loved us no matter what. Amen. .
