Where There is No Wood

Publisher Marketing: Wood is an organic matter gotten from tree. It is cut and dried for use as fuel to produce heat, fire or power by burning. As long as there are fresh supplies of wood, there will always be fire. Often times we glory in left over fire (or anointing) of the Holy Spirit in our lives and ministries. Unfortunately, this is just a relic of the burnt wood or rather, the old fire the Holy Spirit had kindled in our life some time ago that has now dissipated. Borrowing imagery from our local firewood stove or wood fire place in the house, the point I am making becomes clearer. After the woods are burnt and no more wood is added, the flame goes out and ashes cover the dying flame of the woods. However, at this stage, you can still feel some warmth, though the fire has gone out! This is quite deceptive because you cannot compare the warmth of ash-covered coals or wood with the heat of the burning woods. We must make sure that our fire is continually being kindle else we will have relics of ashes. At this junction, you must earnestly desire restoration to a higher level of inward glow of the Spirit and an outward enlightenment and prosperity.
