Killjoy Returns

The year is 1959 and Jerry Killian is a wacky, mixed-up, seventeen-year-old horny prep student who believes he killed his senile grandmother. He questions authority and his strict Catholic surroundings and battles his low self esteem and bi-polar depression with sexual fantasies and comical antics. When he meets Cathy, his first love, he tries to mature and act sane, but a sudden rare speech affliction turns his life upside down. With the help of his nerdy prep friends and Bob, his caring emotional mentor, Jerry slowly crawls out of his depressive state. But when Cathy suddenly dies in a tragic bus accident, he falls into an even deeper pit of hopelessness and attempts suicide. However, poor Jerry can't even seem to do that right. So, once again, he returns to the land of the living and his old weird ways, still battling his demons, but never quite giving up completely on his boyish dreams, or his Don Quixote conquest of female hearts. Much like "Catcher In The Rye" and "American Graffiti" this story will touch the heart and funny bone of all who can recall their teen years and that special First Love with bittersweet memories.
