References Author Bio Publisher Preface Our lives are filled with commonplace incidents and accidents as we revolve around the constant day to day activities, which have become a part of our routine. Sometimes this journey treads on some dangerous roads as we come across the domestic battles with electricity, fire, and toxic substances. Household accidents take numerous forms and sizes, but we have to tackle them and depending upon the size of the attacks we can find the defendants in our homes. We just have to know where to look and this is exactly what this book aims to do. We plan on giving you the weapons for combating these tricky and intimidating opponents. This book deals with four basic broad categories of accidents: falling, burning, electric shocks, and accidently getting poisoned by any of the various toxic substances ever present in a common house. We cannot ensure your safety, but after going through this we are sure that depending upon the level of steps that you can endorse, you may be able to help yourself and the loved ones around you. The layout of this book is in such a manner that it introduces you with an incident and gives you its symptoms whenever you come across it and then tells you what plan of action you ought to take. Our advice does not end with your talking control of the incident, but moves on to at an even more important step which is the way to keep that incident at bay for the rest of your life. We provide you with tips and plans to prevent that accident from taking place again to protect the rest of your fate and actions. Even though accidents are a matter of fate it is important that we try and do the best we can for our family and ourselves before leaving it to our unforeseeable future. Contributor Bio:  Davidson, John John Davidson was born in Barrhead in Renfrewshire in 1857. He spent his childhood years in Greenock, and after working as a pupil-teacher and briefly attending Edinburgh University, taught in schools in Glasgow and Perth. In 1989 he moved to London where he made his living as a journalist and critic. Several dramas had been published while he was still in Scotland, but in the 1890s he turned to poetry, and published several collections which were very popular: In a Music-Hall (1891) and Ballads and Songs (1894) amongst them. These were poems which chronicled urban working class life, and his sense of outrage at the poverty of the ordinary man, as expressed by the much-anthologized 'Thirty Bob a Week'. At the beginning of the new century he moved away from the lyric and began writing in blank verse which incorporated much scientific language; this series of Testaments were not as successful as his earlier ballad style, though Hugh MacDiarmid was to pay tribute to Davidson's attempts to combine poetry with scientific ideas. Despite the early popularity of the poetry, financial difficulties constantly plagued Davidson; he had had no choice but to continue with the journalism he disliked in order to support his family and other dependents. Sadly the money worries, combined with ill-health and depression, drove him to committing suicide in 1909.
