Against the backdrop of a disintegrating Middle East and the emergence of the so called 'Islamic State' a British MI6 operative has introduced a deadly computer virus into the Iranian nuclear enrichment programme and now the Supreme Leader wants revenge. Iranian clean-skin agent Ryan Gardiner is landed on a remote Yorkshire beach with a portable nuclear device on a mission to target London. A detective is stabbed and lives are in danger as Ryan and his female British accomplice head for the capital. Detective Sergeant Rowdy Yates from Bradford Special Branch and about to retire James Turnbull from MI6 head up the chase to find and stop them as police and mobile communication networks crash around them during a climax on the River Thames on Christmas Day that could change Britain forever.
