Carmen E Montcourt
Carmen E. Montcourt was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She attended college at the Central University of Venezuela, graduating as Anthropologist. Working at the Museum of Archaeology and History in Maracay, she won a scholarship from the OAS for the postgraduate course Restoration of Cultural Property in Mexico. Then she was on the staff of Professors of the Libertador Pedagogical University in Maracay. When she was working as Head of the Department of Social Sciences, won a scholarship Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho and did her Master in Education at the University of Illinois, USA, Summa Cum Laude. She is author and co-author of several publications. In 1996 she retired from the university and moved to India where she earned her master degree in Reiki and Karuna. She has given courses and lectures about personal growth in Venezuela, Miami and New York. Since she was very young took the mission of helping those in need, considering herself a worker of the Light, providing voluntary services in different hospitals and foundations, both in Venezuela and Miami. She has two daughters and four grand children. She currently lives in Miami with her husband, an after developing breast cancer in 2008, has been helping people who are in her same situation.
