Disgrace and a total detestation by the people may follow, and ultimately, the gains they purport to yield becoming tasteless. Absolute power corrupts absolutely when the people allow themselves to be swilled and manipulated by those they look up to. But by asking questions and thinking very deeply, and reflecting on the real motives, folks may break the bonds of manipulation. This play outlines how two ex-convicts and deportees rebranded and repackaged themselves and succeeded in climbing the influence and affluence ladder through religious corruption. The dramatic intrigues provide happiness and laughter.
