A large party was given to me and Tony celebrating our release from prison. We were both promoted to Capos and our new business venture was to run drugs and counterfeit money in phony taxis. We operated right under the cop's noses --- making the mob millions. The details were brilliant and Don Mancini was happy with the success until I had an accident. Actually I had two accidents --- one with the taxi and the other with my girlfriend --- both were life changers. Afraid I would return to prison I put my faith in the Mafia. Don Carmine Mancini manipulated my life once more and turned the negatives into positives. He played people like chess pieces. He was always four moves ahead. He played me into the hands of another crime boss, Don Anthony Damato. Another tragedy moved me into a trusted spot with the Damato family. Don Mancini used me to influence them to serve the Mancinis. I was in a tough spot.
