When Richey's friend gets sick, he learns that one little boy can make a difference. All of the author's and illustrator's proceeds for this book will go to the "All for Trace" fund to finance a room, which will be named "In Memory of Trace Richey" on the Bone Marrow ward at St. Vincent's Hospital in Sydney, Australia where Tracy was treated. I wanted to respond to some controversy regarding the dedication of this book. This book was written in celebration of a man whose story touched my heart. He devoted his life to fund raising for the benefit of others even when he was fighting for his own life. It was not intended to condone or condemn a life style. It was an opportunity provided by God to show that love and friendship is more important than possessions. For those of you who know me, you know I am a Christian and believe 100% in God's Word. I believe we are all sinners, saved by grace through faith, as provided by Christ's sacrifice on the cross. That grace is provided to all; and all are in need of that grace. I pray this settles any doubts or disappointments. Thank you, Kimberly Haynes-Bauer
