Your getting ready to embark upon an adventure through the majestic Rocky Mountains, at Philmont Ranch in New Mexico. As you read you will encounter a near death experience with the wildlife, who comes to camp hungry. You will learn quickly, how vulnerable one is against the wilderness. You will become immersed in the trip as if you were there backpacking trek yourself. The story treks through an adventure with a grizzly bear that visited us in the campsite, to blacking out from dehydration.
