Andrea Ralston grew up in a small town in Jamaica, West Indies, bolstered by love, nurturing, and faith; but day-to-day existence wasn't easy for the young girl beset by poverty, discrimination, and marginalization. Living on the edge of society and always struggling to find her place in the world, Andrea never gave up her quest for stability while constantly defying the odds and naysayers in her path.
