Rhyme Time in India

This book is a collection of simple rhyming verse accompanied by cartoons and illustrations that comment on political, social or civic issues that citizens of India face in their daily lives. Included are rhymes that were published many years ago when Indira Gandhi was in power, some are more recent and others are brand new. Where necessary, there are footnotes that will give readers a background of the underlying situations and issues on which the rhymes are based.
