Shanell, also known as Lil' Mama, was born and raised in South Central L. A. She was a small, petite, beautiful young lady, who grew up in a family full of gangstas. Her parents, Sandy and Davy Bone, were two original gangstas who gave her the world. They tried to shield her from that life, and were successful, until Lil' Mama's dad had to go to prison, forcing her to deal with her life alone. Lil' Mama falls in love with Lynwood aka "Lil' Bone", who is truly a forbidden love. Their families grew up around each other, so the history that she and Lil' Bone share eventually causes them to fall in love. They sneak around to be together until her dad is released from jail, but after a few tragic events, Lynwood goes to jail, leaving Lil' Mama alone, again. Will the prison walls cause their love to end? Snake, is well known and respected in the hood. He's old enough to be her dad with more money from drug sales than she was used to. He's ruthless and always carry his nine. When Snake and Lil' Mama have their first date, things started out good. That is, until a carjacking changes everything. Will their love withstand the drama and devastation? Ghost, a Cuban with a long ponytail and green eyes, walked into Lil' Mama's life. Ghost is absolutely gorgeous, unlike any gangsta she knew or been around. The problem was that he was from a hood most hated, the Hoova's. Never dating outside her race or outside her hood before, she is apprehensive about being with him, but he is so good to her. Will Ghost change Lil' Mama's life forever or will she stay devoted to her hood? With a bunch of unforeseen circumstances, a shooting, a rape, a funeral, a pregnancy, and domestic violence, Lil' Mama realizes that living with gangstas is a hard thing to do, but lovin' them would be even harder!
