Other Desert Cities

The moments of these lives we live are fraught with choices. Each choice that we make effects consequence that ripples as if a pebble has been cast into a still pool of water in some nameless, abstract place. These stories take you to those places and to those moments. These are vibrant and textured scenes of lives in flux, and at the precipice of togetherness, tenderness, and hope, or of spite, hatred, and division. There is an element of all of this here for the reader to pick apart and to vivisect. The reader is invited to do so in the hopes that what is taken away brings people closer together.
