Some pollutants like azo dyes containing banned amines like benzidine are even carcinogenic. Enzymes play key role in such alternative processes. Use of enzymes in textile started as long as a century ago. But it is restricted to the process of desizing only for very long time. Use of enzyme in textile started two decades ago with Bio-stoning. Then this sector of enzymes in textile field started flourishing which today have presence in all most of all processes in chemical processing of yarn, fabric.
