A junior CIA analyst becomes curious about the complex structure of The Sythian Fund, an investment portfolio managed by Jaco Kazmi, a non-resident alien. He reports his misgivings to his superiors, who after some investigation suspect that Kazmi is an Iranian financier who manages 30 million dollars for ISIS. CIA brass Bradley Fenster calls in Wesley Seager, a free agent who occasionally does special jobs for the Company; he in turn, calls Dante, his best operative and charges him with stealing the 30 million. What Dante and his team soon discover, however, is that Kazmi is funding five simultaneous attacks on major American cities. What began as a paper chase soon becomes a race against time and carnage.
