The tales are based on his own interactions and observations with Gypsies in Russia, England and an assortment of other locations. He lists name origins as well as traits, songs, translated stories and a host of other information of interest to those who want to expand their knowledge of Gypsies. This book is written in old English therefore it was decided that in order to better read it, a simple, larger font was utilised (Bookman Old Style 14).
