In Search of Refuge

Independent single mother Selah DeMoss has one goal in life - making her son's future a happy one. But someone is threatening them both, casting shadows on their life from her troubled past with an abusive ex-husband. Dax MacLaren has always cared deeply for Selah and sees her return home as a second chance to prove his trustworthiness to her. When Selah and her son Calder can't find refuge from their attacker, Dax becomes their staunch protector. Selah fights him on it, wanting to remain independent, even if it means she will have to sacrifice her won life to save her son. Dax, however, believes he can help her not only escape, but overcome her attackers as well as her past. Will they both find healing in the end?
