The Waters of Sanjidan

Troy Hackonnen. Soldier. The ultimate product of a society whose one aim is to survive. How he lives, how he fights and how he loves are all suborned to that one duty. Summoned to the backwater tribal planet of Proberon to quell a minor conflict, they encounter the vengeful and ambitious Queen Aticia. Struggling to unite the tribes and depose her conniving uncle, she grasps the opportunity for disruption these naïve, but powerful outsiders bring. Events will spiral until he and his troopers are faced with the ultimate choice and ultimate responsibility. They must fight an inner battle that few of them are prepared for.
