How To Replace Congress I
Howard Hanson
Learn that being an incumbent for our United States Congress is not listed in the Constitution. It does not say or get re-elected. It specifically says chosen for six years. It then says that the seats of the senators "shall be vacated at the Expiration of their "Classes". Finally the secret is out. We have term limits and it was reinforced with the 17th Amendment "The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote." The constitution also does not mention the two party system. That has not upheld this clear, concise portion of the Law of how government is to operate. For House of Representatives, six years is just to much time in office.
