Set in current-day San Francisco, Joe faces not only danger but modern problems like hipster culture and techies with an irreverent attitude that comes when you can brawl with anyone. Leaving Spirit has an unique perspective on the natural wonders and urban turmoil of the Bay Area, and it has a realistic take on addiction and sexual abuse.
