In the thirteen years Emily Carlisle lived at Saint Peter's Boarding School, she never took any interest the rumors about a ghost haunting the north tower. At least, not until, her senior year when she started having dreams about the previous owners of the castle converted into a school. That's when Emily decided to volunteer her friend Sheila and cousin Didi to perform a seance in the north tower to conjure the spirit. Unfortunately, things go terribly wrong when the girls accidentally set the tower on fire, unleashing the spirit who murdered the guests at the Cromwell Halloween Ball in 1816.
