For most people, high school means studying, texting, and applying for college. But for Sera Frey, it includes dodging murder attempts, watching her friends get killed in her place, and discovering the best explanation for all of it in hair-raising conspiracy theories. Desperate to figure out a way to fight back before someone else becomes collateral damage, the last thing she expects is to fall for someone at her new school. Certainly not her new next door neighbor, Bryan, who reminds her of someone that died saving her life years before. To complicate things even more, Crew, the most popular boy at school, pursues her relentlessly. For the first time in her life, she's having normal high school problems: Boys. But that doesn't change the fact that she's still being hunted. Will her new relationships end in tragedy like all the others? Or will she finally be able to break the cycle?
