Christmas Carols for Crosspicking Mandola or Tenor Banjo
Ondrej Sarek
I arranged fourteen carols for all crosspicking mandola (CGDA) or tenor banjo players. Whether you play carols under the Christmas tree or Nativity scene at the church, I wish you a merry and happy Christmas. Crosspicking is technnique where you switch between that are next to each other with a plectrum. Mostly you will do it according to repeating pattern. Ussually melody is on deep string and chord tones are on other strings. Includes: Adeste Fideles (O Come, All Ye Faithful), Away In A Manger, Bring A Torch Jeanette Isabella, Deck the Hall, Good King Wenceslas, I Saw Three Ships, Joy To The World, O Christmas Tree, O Little Town Of Bethlehem, Silent Night, The First Noel, We Three Kings Of Orient Are, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, What Child Is This? (Greensleeves) The are in the book songs without text. Check out samples from book: http: //osos.sweb.cz/Sarek-Guitar-and-Guitalele-preview.pdf
