--- On a dark and stormy night --- A suburban area with roundabouts and a cul-de-sac filled with houses. The road is blanketed by the powdery snow that has fallen up to the knees of the three men walking to the side of Smith's neighbor's house. The area is dimly lit by the streetlights. They feel like they're inside a large, magnificent snow globe. "This is it, come on," Smith says as he throws his bag over the fence and grabs the side to pull himself over. "What the hell? Why are we jumping the fence?" Nelson asks. "It's all good. The snow will cushion your fall. Just hop over," Smith says and lifts himself over the fence. He lands, making an almost angelic imprint in the snow. "Come on, it's all good," Smith whispers for the others to come over. Both Nelson and Harris toss their bags and jump over the fence. They follow the three-foot-deep tracks of Smith to the back of his neighbors' garage where there is a tarp covering four snowmobiles locked together. "What the hell is this?" Harris says as he watches Smith pull out a pair of bolt cutters from his bag and places them on the chain. "Come on, Houdini. I thought you asked if it was okay to borrow these," Nelson says. Smith puts his arms out with a smile. "Look, guys, they're asleep right now and we'll be back in a couple of hours. I mean, they won't even know they're gone." "What about when we start these things up? It's going to wake them up, Einstein," Harris says. Smith squeezes the bolt cutters and cuts through the chain. " We'll have to just push them through the fence opening and then we can start them," Smith says, looking at them for a better solution. "I mean, if you have a better solution, please let me know because last I checked we're in this together." "Fine. Let's do this," Harris says. They pop the snowmobiles into neutral and push them toward the gate. Nelson looks back at Smith sweating and they continue to push. "It's right there. See the opening?" Smith says as he points to the opening in the gate. They continue to push the snowmobiles through the darkness. The blowing of the snow is getting worse and worse as the time moves on. At the gate, there is a lock that separates them from the outside. Nelson and Harris both look at Smith. "Great. Now what, Houdini?" Nelson says and Smith shakes his head, looking for help from Harris. "Look, I didn't say it would be easy," Smith says as Nelson starts to push his snowmobile back to the garage. "Wait," Harris says. He quickly pulls off his gloves and hands them to Smith who has a new and emerging smile. "If I get frostbite, I'm going to smack you," Harris says as he pulls out a small bottle of inert dusting gas and grabs the bolt cutters from Smith. He holds the inert dusting spray bottle upside down, causing it to be colder than ever, freezing the base of the lock. He takes the bolt cutters and slams them against the bolt. The lock pops off and falls into the snow. Harris opens the gate with the help of the blowing wind and looks back at
