Meet Alex, who takes you on a journey with Migraine, the woodpecker. In a universe where people can be followed by invisible (disabling) animals, the only way to see each other's animals is through the power of empathy. The first of its collection (Out of Sight), A Piece of Mind allows the reader to perceive the world through the eyes of a migraineur, which will help children with migraines to understand they are not alone, and will foster the understanding of people who do not have an invisible disability.
