They backed away and watched and then bro-hugged. Then they promptly dismantled it. Yes, took it apart. The specs were in their head and the object? It was in pieces and now in separate boxes. Two weeks later Connor's loft was hit. He came home to find everything turned upside down and most of it broken. Connor left and did not return. He made a call as he left to Clive. Run. Was all he said. Connor joined the Army the next morning. Now surrounded by a platoon of men. Safe. Never told his family. Never stepped foot off base alone. Became someone else......
