Lenora Grimaud
The Two Shall Become One offers a personal experience of marriage and divorce and the Church as the bride of Christ from an author who has experienced both vocations: wife and religious. She was a wife for twenty-four years before entering religious life. This book provides her semi-autobiographical journey in two parts: marriage between one man and one woman, and Jesus as the Bridegroom of His Church. Part one highlights include commentary on Pope Francis's encyclical Amoris Laetitia. Her life and faith journey, along with extensive knowledge of Catholic teaching, offers readers a reliable candid view of the issues and questions that surround marriage and divorce in the Catholic Church, and the considerations Catholics must take into account as they seek to evangelize and heal broken people and families. In part two, the book covers what it means for Catholics to be a member of the Church. Topics included are prophecy, the Charismatic Renewal, spiritual warfare, sacraments, and prayer. Her life is like a "patchwork quilt," made up of many different fabrics sewn together to form one complete comforter. Wife, mother, Nun, grandmother, great-grandmother, and presently, consecrated lay woman, are only some of the pieces that make up this quilt. Born in Lorain, Ohio, Lenora has also lived in many places throughout the world, and served in numerous different ministries. In this book, she shares with us the wisdom gained throughout her many life experiences.
