The Descendent

Genesis is a star athlete for a top NFL football team until one day he has an epiphany. From that experience he gives up his former life and seeks the path of the hero. On his journey, he discovers that he is the direct descendent of Melchezidec, the King of Righteousness mentioned in the Bible. Armed with the knowledge of self he transforms himself into a powerful supernatural man. This in turn, creates enemies who want to treat humanity like cattle. His newfound power is a threat to the status quo, so he must fight to save himself and the love of his life.
