The Lost Diary

Not all the hurdles are in the ring.....

Faye's winning streak has ended with a bad fall. She needs time off from the show ring to heal her shoulder, but no one knows how reluctant she is to return. Every time she recalls the fall or thinks about mounting up again, her heart races and she feels sick. She's so afraid, she can't even admit it to herself: What if not just her winning streak is over?

Then, at a tack sale, she finds an old diary and meets Mary Inglis and her amazing jumper Colleen. Nothing can stop the horse, but the girl faces all kinds of obstacles: her young age, her gender and a secret about her horse that could ruin everything. Suddenly, the diary entries end. What happened to Mary? wonders Faye. And why does it matter so much to me?
