Fragile Self: The Structure of Narcissistic Disturbance and Its Therapy

This study argues that therapists require an adequate theory of self in order to address effectively those states of mind in which a disturbed sense of self are prominent. It discusses disorders of the self from various points of view, drawing attention to the work of Kohut.
