The Enduring Effects of Prenatal Experience: Echoes from the Womb

In this work, the author shows how two different experiences of life, one in the womb and one in the world, influence our sense of who we are. The meaning of folk stories from different cultures is explored, and the effects of difficult or premature births on later phobias and depression examined.
