Jerome K Jerome was born in 1859. He was an English humorist best known for this travelogue Three Men in A Boat. Three Men in a Boat is a humorous account of the holiday trip on the Thames from Kingston to Oxford. The book began as a serious work about the area andinteresting places along the route. The book's humorous style became dominant and the more serious sections are a small part of its worth. Three Men in a Boat contains timeless humor.
