He pastored the same church for twenty-eight years, during which time the church grew from 55 to over 500 members. He also started a Christian school that grew to over 500 students. He has a bachelor's degree and a master's degree and has completed all the work for his doctorate except for the dissertation. For twelve years, David taught American history, world history, government, and economics in high schools in Indiana, Ohio, and Florida.
