A House for Her

You've met the people in A House for Her. You often see them shopping for groceries, one aisle over from you. Or you pass their houses on your way to work and see them mowing their lawns. Perhaps you share a job site with them or a place of worship. All in all, these are quite ordinary folks but they also have something in common with one another. Each has an obsession of some kind: the woman who is convinced that her cat is a reincarnation of her mother; the small town postmaster of the 1940s who is positive that he is responsible for the well being of his town; the office worker in a dead-end job who thinks the outcome of romance novels tells it like it is. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad, these sixteen tales are reminders of silent stories that go on all around us.
