Flaming Youth

A romantic story following the lives of three sisters in the time between the two world wars, filled with youthful love and sibling rivalries. Flaming Youth is about a wealthy family and their friends in 1920's America. A sick mother fears her family is falling into moral decline as her daughters are coming of age in the flapper era. Set in the "Jazz Age", it provides an intriguing look at the past and our passionate and sentimental ancestors while addressing a variety of moral issues of the time. Considered very controversial in its time, the novel was adapted into the silent movie "Flaming Youth" in 1923. Written by Samuel Hopkins Adams, under the pseudonym "Warner Fabian".
