The period was the 1890s, at the onset of the 20th century and Anna Jenkins, a school teacher in New York City, gave up her profession to pursue her dream to become a stage actress. She then quickly rose to fame. Tired of doing Shakespeare's plays, she landed in a place called Laredo, Texas to do her first freelance acting with two male prospects who are, hot on her heels until one day, ruined one of their acting careers.
Jake Martin was a wanted man from the law, blended himself in the acting business and now with his career in ruins, he planned to get even with Anna. After spending several months orchestrating to kidnap her, he finally had her where he wanted. High up in the Laredo Hills where no one can find her.
"Anna, hear me now, I'm comin' for ya, get ready cause I'm comin'." Screamed Jake, as he trudged along the rocky hills of Laredo.
