Glory to the Glory Hole!
Johnny Townsend
After the murder of his husband during a human rights protest, Mark Himmelman faces both physical and emotional isolation amidst deteriorating political conditions during the COVID pandemic. But while trying to ride things out, he discovers he can also help others address needs of their own.
He cuts out a glory hole in the bottom half of his Dutch door at the back of the house. Without exposing anyone to the coronavirus, he's able to service mail carriers, delivery drivers, assorted neighbors, and even a police officer or two.
It's not traditional volunteer work, but he wants to pitch in as best he can during the ongoing crisis.
Yet when one anonymous encounter unexpectedly leads to a fledgling relationship, Mark must decide if he's willing to risk losing love all over again...and maybe his life.
