Chretien de Troyes
The Romances of Chrétien de Troyes were some of the most influencial Arthurian stories of all time. In addition to possibly inventing the character of Lancelot, Chrétien also romanticized life at King Arthur's court in a way that had not been done before.
This edition contains the four complete Arthurian Romances: Erec and Enide, Cliges, Yvain, and Lancelot. The fifth romance, Perceval, is incomplete and an English translation does not exist in the public domain, so it is not included here.
These texts are taken from public domain sources. A free copy of the ebook is available online.
