Not long after he visited Cathay, China, Frank Fouché decided to "share" Yeh-Shen with the Europeans. So, out of the first portion of the Chinese fable, Frank gave the Ayitian literature a classic tale called "Tezen," which is the story of a little girl and her friend the fish (Tezen). This story, by the way, has been successfully integrated into our folktales collection. On the other hand, Tezen, just like Cinderella, Cenicienta, or Cendrillon, the girl with the glass slipper, also the second portion of Yeh-Shen's story, became our own children's classic bedtime story. Dr. André Lapierre Pardo (a.k.a Bob Lapierre) would not let such a treasure vanish from our Ayitian classic collection for the theatre.
