The MacLaren saga continues! Glynis married Aaron Redding, her beloved captain, and plans to sail the seas with him for the rest of her days. A turn in events reunites Glynis with her brother Ross and his family. Her happiness is short-lived as tragedy strikes at the most unexpected moment. Ross will do anything to protect his family from the Duke of Essex, John Alder, even if it means crossing the ocean to live in the American colonies.
