Truman's wise planning and assistance find Alexa Silven being resuscitated in the ambulance in route to the hospital. Slipping into a coma, but alive after surgery, Alexa is stolen away to a mountain retreat by Truman, Gother, and Fuller... and her father. But the assassin finds her and by the end of his attack two people lie dead. Alexa becomes a major federal witness on the run and on the offense.
