Thorn Wilde
A jaded literature student falls for the borderline sadistic editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper. In Brighton, a boy just out of college is in love with his very openly gay childhood best friend, but doesn't believe his friend feels the same way. After his break-up, a young man slips into depression, and it only gets worse as Valentine's Day approaches. And in London, an IT support technician has a hard time believing that his long time online friend halfway around the world could possibly want him, when his body isn't exactly what most gay men would want. This collection of twenty-three short stories, written over the course of six years, explores relationships-romantic, sexual and otherwise-between men who love men and a few others. Some relationships are healthier than others, but all feature flawed people just trying to find their way toward love. Because in the end, that's what truly matters.
