AA and Christianity

Is Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) consistent with the teaching of the Bible and Christianity? Many people would say yes and most people would affirm that they are complementary and compatible at least. This volume assesses AA and its related 12 Step programs based on the clear teaching of the Bible. Credit is given to AA for the benefits that it provides to some. However, the outcome of the assessment may be startling to some and probably will be offensive to others. Yet, for those who are true followers of Jesus discernment is needed to distinguish between the true and the counterfeit.
