One afternoon, during a hike through old stomping grounds nicknamed Devils Den, now a part of the Leon Creek Greenway trails that stretch through San Antonio, Texas; Pat and his girlfriend Tabitha take a rest on their excursion and take notice of a peculiar looking tall tree, devoid of life, entangled with vines. They venture into the woods off trail to take a snack break and notice a homeless settlement deeper in the woods. Curiosity gets the better of him so he and his best friend George planned to go investigate it later that evening. After a brief skirmish with the homeless men who occupied the encampment, they befriend them but things went terribly wrong when they returned a second night, only to be drugged by them. The next thing they know, they were about to be sacrificed by druids. Little do they all know, something else inhabits these woods and things take a turn for the worst. Ancient spells are incanted and a terrible curse spreads like an infection. Their only hope, wisdom from an obscure and elusive man that knows more than he leads on.
