The Role of Military Regimes in Iraq

(2020 reissue with edited preface) Originally submitted as a graduate thesis in 1962, this text has been transcribed and republished as both an artifact of history and an accessible layman's introduction to the military history of Iraq. Supplemented with excerpts from the author's memoirs of time spent in Baghdad during the 1958 uprising, the editor hopes this volume may offer some insight on issues we still face to this day.
